Mission
Use a soft, damp cloth or brush to spot clean only as needed. Do not pre-wash. Never dry clean or use any detergent; instead saddle soap and a damp cloth for stains.
Waxed canvas should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents because that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp cloth or soft bristle brush to gently buff out any stained area.
Because of its waxed surface it should be water repellent so you won’t have many issues with spots or staining typically.
If you want to reset the canvas (remove any of the distressed marks) you can just apply heat with a blow dryer.
